Who can become a member of NSUI?
You can become an NSUI member if you are
  • A regular student
  • Between the age of 18 and 27 years.
  • A citizen of India.
Aspiring members should not be part of any other political organization, or must relinquish their membership in any other political organization. Members should have good standing and must not have been convicted of any criminal offences in the past.

How to become a member of the NSUI?
To become a member of the NSUI is very simple, just follow these three simple steps:-
1.Download the membership form or collect it from the District Returning Officer(DRO). Please note that no other format of the Membership form will be accepted apart from the one available on the NSUI website or the local NSUI body.
2.Fill up the Membership form according to the given instructions.
3.Submit your membership form to the concerned NSUI authorities with your Address proof and ID proof along with the membership fees.
When and how is the Membership conducted?
Membership drive for NSUI will be conducted every year in the colleges . The Membership drive dates will be announced on the NSUI website as well as by the present NSUI body in the college. The Membership drive will be conducted by a network of Returning Officers (RO) appointed by the NSUI Executive committee. Any individual can become a member of the NSUI even if the Membership drive is not being conducted in the college by filling in the application form and submitting it to the present NSUI body in college.
How long will the Membership will be valid for?

The Membership will be valid for one year. Every year an individual has to renew his membership by paying the subscription fees and he/she should still be below the age of 27 and maintains good standing. Any member can be expelled from the organization on disciplinary grounds by the NSUI Executive committee.
